Teen nabbed with stolen gun after gunfire spurs ‘code yellow’ at Cumberland County elementary school in Eastover: Deputies

EASTOVER, N.C. (WNCN) — A teenager was caught with a gun stolen from a Fayetteville pawn shop after shots were fired Monday that spurred a “code yellow” in an elementary school in Eastover, deputies said.

Gunfire was reported just after 1:20 p.m. Monday north of Fayetteville in Eastover near the School Street and Middle Road intersection, according to a Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office news release.
