FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Today is a First Alert Weather Day due to high wind and refreezing areas on the road thanks to rapidly dropping temperatures.
The wind started off howling this morning and will stay pretty strong most of the day, gusting between 30-40 mph on average (occasionally stronger).
Saturday’s snowstorm was impressive by any standard, especially for November! Snowfall amounts were more or less as expected. Of course, there are always a few under or over performers. The lowest totals (2-5″) were found south and east in Van Wert and Jay counties, whereas the highest totals (7-10″) were north and west like in Whitley and Noble counties.
