GRAND RAPIDS, MI — A Cedar Springs area woman told police she held a bag over her 2-year-old’s mouth in September, killing her, court records show.
Irene Aiyana Whitehead was arraigned Monday, Dec. 1 in Kent County District court on charges of felony murder and first-degree child abuse.
