(WHTM) — It’s not the only toy drive for children, but this one is also run by a child.
Eleven-year-old Anderson Yinger was picking out toys not for himself, or even for anyone he knew. Ever since he was just six, he has been selling handmade holiday cards and using the proceeds to buy toys for children in the hospital.
“I know no one likes being in the hospital when they’re sick around Christmastime because it’s like your favorite time of the year,” Yinger said. “So I wanted to make sure they got something to enjoy, to, like, have joy about.”…
