Three charged for allegedly stealing clothing from Lowe’s

Monroe Township, Pa. — Three people were charged for allegedly stealing clothing from a Snyder County Lowe’s store on several occasions.

Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove were called on Oct. 29 regarding several retail thefts at the Monroe Township store. Here’s what happened according to Trooper Melvin Eby:

Store staff told police that the first alleged theft occurred on Oct. 11 when a male and female suspect, later identified as Douglas Miernicki, 48, of Coal Township, and Tanika Marie Vallati, 40, of Richfield, entered the store. Miernicki and Vallati started looking through the clothing section. A short time later, Vallati and Miernicki were seen leaving the store wearing jackets they did not pay for…
