Madison County Water Department announces temporary water outages on Monday, Tuesday

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Madison County Water Department has announced a scheduled water outage for the northeast part of the county on Monday and Tuesday of this week.

The scheduled work for system improvements will require a temporary water outage for the following areas on Monday:

  • Oakview Road from HWY 231/431 to Crumrine Place
    • House numbers 127–313 Oakview Road
  • Louie Hardy Road
    • House numbers 109–123 Louie Hardy Road
  • Crumrine Place
    • House numbers 1–12 Crumrine Place

The work is expected to be completed by 3 p.m. on Monday.

On Tuesday, at 8 a.m., the work for system improvements will require a temporary water outage in the following areas:

  • Manley Road from Bevills Church Road to Greenville Pike
    • House numbers 420–809 Manley Road
  • Greenville Pike from Manley Road to Bevills Church Road
    • House numbers 939–1119 Greenville Pike

A traffic interruption will also take place at the Greenville Pike/Manley Road intersection. Crews will be digging in the eastbound lane of Manley Road and the southbound lane of Greenville Pike. Traffic control measures will be in place.

Work is expected to be completed, and water service will be restored by 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
