LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A 7-year-old girl died after a hit-and-run crash in the Iroquois neighborhood Sunday afternoon.
Madison Marie Fisher, known to her family as May May, died at the hospital after the multi-vehicle collision on Taylor Boulevard near Iroquois High School. Her grandmother was also injured in the crash and is recovering in the hospital with broken bones.
Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) said a car traveling north on Taylor Boulevard at high speed ran off the shoulder and hit a utility pole. After hitting the pole, the car continued across all lanes of Taylor Boulevard and struck a southbound vehicle carrying Fisher and her grandmother…
