NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Nashville Waste Services is reducing the number of days they do trash pickup, and your weekly trash pickup day could change as a result.
NWS said they’ll reduce trash and recycling pickup to just four days per week instead of five, eliminating Monday weekly service.

The department said the change is impacting two-thirds of their customers, including people living near the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, Donelson, and Edgefield areas of Nashville.
NWS said the reason for the change is to become more reliable. They told News 2 they will now use Mondays as training and maintenance days for employees.
