According to the release, just after 3 a.m. Sunday, an SUV hit a power pole at the intersection of U.S. Highway 29 and Muscogee Road.

The collision disabled the light at that intersection for the “foreseeable future,” according to the release.

Drivers are urged to avoid that area if possible, and if driving through there, treat the intersection as a four-way stop.
