WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The Cameron Art Museum (CAM) is inviting people of all ages to its birthday celebration for artist Minnie Evans.
Minnie Evans, 1892-1987, was a Wilmington local and folk artist whose career began in 1935. She gained notoriety throughout the 20th century for pieces featuring repeating faces, eyes, angels, fantastical creatures and flowers, according to CAM.
Included in the celebration will be a family-friendly tour of exhibitions, art programs for kids, teens, and adults, and a sensory hour for families in need of sensory support…
