Arlington Residents Invited to Celebrate 50 Years of Interlochen Lights December 13-25

The Interlochen Lights event in northwest Arlington, Texas, will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2025. From December 13 to December 25, nearly 200 homeowners in the Interlochen neighborhood will decorate their homes with holiday lights and displays. The event is open to the public and runs nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Each year, it attracts more than 100,000 visitors from the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington area.

The Arlington Police Department will manage traffic during the event. All vehicles must enter the neighborhood from Westwood Drive at Randol Mill Road. Signs will direct drivers along the two-mile route. Other entry points will be closed. There are restrictions for tour buses and limousines on certain streets.

Visitors should expect long wait times, especially on weekends. Arriving before 9 p.m. or visiting on weekdays may reduce wait times. The drive through the neighborhood usually takes about an hour…
