DALLAS — One person was killed and two others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Sunday evening in Uptown Dallas, authorities said. One person was also arrested, police announced.
Dallas Fire-Rescue units were dispatched at 5:17 p.m. after multiple 911 calls reported a crash involving two vehicles, with at least one overturned at the intersection of Turtle Creek Boulevard and Gillespie Street. Fire officials said a person was reported trapped inside a vehicle, but the first-arriving truck company was able to extricate that individual before the department’s urban search and rescue team arrived.
Dallas Fire-Rescue said four people were transported from the scene to area hospitals. One of those patients, later identified by the Dallas County Medical Examiners Office as Emma Hackney, 29, later died at the hospital, DFR said. Police said two of those people were taken in critical condition…
