Record December snowfall causes crashes, closures

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Record snowfall for December 1 caused major problems for drivers across the Kansas City region Monday morning, with snow totaling around 4 inches in some places.

The snow caused dozens of crashes and led to the closure of at least four area interstates before noon.
