Man accused of helping New Orleans inmates escape has bond reduced

A judge has reduced bond for a man accused of helping 10 New Orleans inmates escape from the Orleans Parish jail back in May.

Sterling Williams has been charged with 10 counts of simple escape and one count of malfeasance.

Williams is accused of shutting off water in a jail cell so the inmates could remove a toilet and escape through the wall of that cell…
