SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — After one of the biggest shopping events of the year, the Empire Mall is reporting a successful weekend of sales.
“We believe we had a very successful Black Friday, our retailers reported both positive traffic and sales,” Molly Brown-Larson, director of marketing at the Empire Mall said. Brown-Larson said retailers provide reports that detail sales and traffic to mall executives.
Brown-Larson was at the mall that day and said she saw generations of families shopping together and many had lots of bags.
