Durham County Hospital Corporation gifted Duke Regional Hospital $1.1 million to renovate its lobby and auditorium — the first renovation for the hospital since its opening nearly 50 years ago.
“The improvements are phenomenal and much needed. These are the spaces where we greet patients, providers and staff every day, as well as host visitors and community events,” said Jason Carter, hospital president and chief operating officer.
