On December 1, 2025, the Cumberland County Board of Commissioners held a regular meeting at the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Cumberland County Courthouse in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Commissioner Glenn Adams led the Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance. The Board recognized Sharon Glover for 20 years of service as a System of Care Coordinator with Alliance Health and the Cumberland County Mental Health Center. Outgoing Chairman Kirk deViere and Vice Chairwoman Veronica Jones received plaques for their leadership during the past year and made brief remarks.
