More road work on busy stretch of Myrtle Beach highway. Will it affect drivers?

Drivers along U.S. 17 in Myrtle Beach are seeing additional construction as crews continue work to widen the bypass near the Myrtle Beach International Airport.

Crews are currently installing storm drainage in the existing grass median along the highway in preparation for the upcoming expansion, the South Carolina Department of Transportation said in a Facebook post.
