Tony is a seasoned entrepreneur who owns more than 40 Sport Clips locations, while Brigitte is a holistic health practitioner and retreat host known for building strong team culture and connection. Together, they bring a people-first philosophy to franchising, creating spaces where employees feel valued, guests feel at home and community connections thrive.
A Newport News native and Denbigh High School graduate, Tony Sawyer is returning to his hometown region after building a multi-state business career. The couple says their connection to Eggs Up Grill is both professional and personal, as they met in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where the brand was founded. For them, opening in Hampton represents a full-circle moment linking the place where their story began in Spartanburg to a new chapter of serving and building community in Virginia.
