The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week’s Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week’s winners, Jasmyn Hale and Shea Spencer, were recognized for their standout performances during the week of Nov. 30.
Jasmyn Hale, Fourth Year, Forward, Shakopee, Mn.
- Delivered an all-around standout week, averaging 13.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.0 block per game.
- Shot an efficient 55.6% from the field and 75% from the free-throw line.
- Recorded a double-double in the win over Mobile, finishing just two assists shy of a triple-double.
- Totaled 23 rebounds across two games, including a dominant 17-board performance vs. Mobile.
- Added 12 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks while starting both contests.
- Anchored both ends of the floor in a 2–0 week for the Seahawks.
Shea Spencer, Fourth Year, QB, Vero Beach, Fla.
- Second Round Most Outstanding Offensive Player of the Game
- Completed 27-of-33 passes for 307 yards and four touchdowns
- His second 300-yard passing game of the season and fifth of his career
- With 307 through the air, Spencer became the first player in Sun Conference history to pass for over 9,000 career yards
- On the year, Spencer has thrown for 2,748 yards (second highest single season total in program history
- Spencer ranks No. 8 in the NAIA in passing yards and is No. 2 in the NAIA in completion percentage (70.2 %)
Both Jasmyn and Shea will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (November) award in December.
