RPD leads weapons investigation on Congress Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Dozens of officers were at Congress Avenue on the city’s southwest side on Monday night for what the Rochester Police Department calls a weapons investigation.

News10NBC’s photojournalist saw multiple RPD cruisers at the scene around 10 p.m. RPD says a person was briefly detained, but no one was arrested and officers have since left the scene.
