Watering Schedule and Rules in Clearwater

The Southwest Florida Water Management District has issued a modified Stage 1 Water Shortage for Pinellas County. Effective Dec. 1, 2025, Clearwater Public Utilities water customers can water their lawns one day per week. We urge everyone to reduce wasteful and unnecessary water use amid continuous drought conditions.

Ways You Can Help Save Water

The city of Clearwater and Clearwater Public Utilities urges everyone to reduce wasteful and unnecessary water use. Tampa Bay Water suggests these tips to save water inside and outside your home:

1. Know Your Watering Day. Residents and businesses should know and follow their local watering restrictions, and water your lawn only when needed and allowed.
