Dr. Latronda Hayes is the Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Riviera Beach, Florida. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. Dr. Hayes has worked in public service for 23 years. She began her career in Palm Beach County, where she held management roles in departments such as Civil Drug Court and Youth Empowerment. She also supported Parks and Recreation with project management.
At Riviera Beach, Dr. Hayes works with several city departments. Her responsibilities include grants and contracts management and collaboration with the Capital Projects Team. She supports the City Manager and Assistant City Manager with strategic and operational tasks. Her duties involve managing grants, contracts, and capital projects, as well as assisting with policy development and community engagement.
Dr. Hayes became interested in public service early in her career after observing the work of the Public Information Officer for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
