Woman killed after New Orleans second-line parade identified by coroner

A woman killed blocks away from the route for the Original Lady & Men Buckjumpers annual second-line parade on Sunday was identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office Tuesday as 26-year-old Destiny Dunn.

Dunn, of Baton Rouge, was shot at Washington Avenue and Magnolia Street in Central City about 5:17 p.m., over an hour after the parade ended. Video circulating on social media showed Dunn inside a car after she was shot.
