UTEP researchers discover potential treatment for aggressive ovarian cancer

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Scientists at The University of Texas at El Paso have identified a promising new target in the battle against high-grade serous carcinoma, a particularly aggressive form of ovarian cancer.

According to the research team, less than 50% of women survive five years after being diagnosed with this type of cancer.
