A 14-year-old Milwaukee boy has been charged in adult court in the July abduction of a 7-year-old boy.
Barry Coleman faces felony charges of kidnapping; taking a hostage as a party to a crime; and two other felonies related to possession of a firearm in the July 11 abduction of Jamal White, known as “Baby J.” The abduction came as prosecutors say Coleman and two other men attempted to rob the child’s mother, only to ultimately take Jamal hostage in an attempt to receive a ransom.
Charging documents against the three describe Coleman as the one who created the plan, with the two adults — 25-year-old Corey Williams and 38-year-old Fabian Johnson — following along as the plan fell apart over the course of about two hours…
