Some Central Arkansas districts delay school due to icy conditions | What to know

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The start of meteorological winter has officially begun here in Arkansas, and parts of Central Arkansas kicked off the week with freezing rain and near-freezing temperatures.

As a result, the National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 6:00 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025, to 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
