COLONIE — An Albany man was arrested and faces multiple felony charges after allegedly leading Albany County Sheriff’s deputies on a brief chase with a 6-year-old child in his vehicle on Tuesday.

Albany County Sheriff Craig D. Apple Sr. reported that members of the Sheriff’s Community Oriented Policing Effort (S.C.O.P.E.) Unit attempted to stop a vehicle on Interstate 90 around 12:17 p.m. for a traffic violation. The driver, however, failed to comply and led deputies on a pursuit.

The pursuit ended in the Town of Colonie, near Loudon Road and Colonial Green, when the operator, identified as Terrell M. Lewis, 36, crashed his vehicle and fled on foot…
