UVA researchers seek participants for COVID drug trial

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Researchers at the University of Virginia are beginning testing of a drug to treat COVID and are seeking people to participate in the clinical trial.

The medication treats COVID in patients whose cases do not require hospitalization. It works similarly to drugs used to treat other viruses.
