Gulf-To-Bay Shutdown: Pedestrian Airlifted After Critical Crash In Clearwater

CLEARWATER, Fla. – A collision on Tuesday evening has left a pedestrian with potentially life-threatening injuries and forced the closure of a major roadway in Clearwater.

First responders with the Clearwater Police Department and Clearwater Fire & Rescue were called to the 1700 block of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard at 6:19 p.m. following reports of a crash involving a pedestrian.

Upon arrival, emergency crews found an adult male with severe injuries. He was designated as a trauma alert and subsequently airlifted to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital. Authorities stated that his injuries are considered critical and possibly life-threatening…
