CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — The southbound lanes of the Bayside Bridge in Clearwater closed Tuesday evening after a garbage truck rolled over.
The Clearwater Police Department said a garbage truck crashed and rolled onto its side, bringing traffic to a complete standstill.
The crash happened at around 5 p.m., just as rush hour traffic started to pick up. At 6:30 p.m., all southbound lanes were still closed.
The Florida Highway Patrol is also on scene investigating the crash, CPD said, though no information has been released about the cause or if anyone was injured…
