Waterford Residents Dig Out from Overnight Snowfall

The recent snow flurries led to people clearing out before heading to work and school on Tuesday. Some school districts opted for two-hour delays or cancellations for the safety of students and teachers.

Waterford and Wattsburg saw more snow than other communities which was expected. Community members said while they are used to the snow, it doesn’t make removing it any easier.

Matt Troyer has lived in Erie for nearly 60 years and he knows now matter how much snow is forecasted, he’s going to be spending time clearing it away.

After the snow comes down, it has to go somewhere. Troyer said it take a couple of hours to remove the snow and put it into a pile. “A couple hours with a snow like this, a couple hour job”, explained Troyer…
