Higher utility bills hit Lynnville mailboxes

LYNNVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Lynnville residents received this week their first bills under the new, higher utility rates.

The town attorney says Lynnville’s water and sewer utilities have been losing money since 2009, adding the rate increase will both balance the budget and catch up to where the rates should be.

But residents say the cost is too high and took to social media this week to express their frustration…
