Lexington firefighter accused of slamming wife’s hand into door during argument

A Lexington firefighter has been arrested and charged in connection to a domestic violence incident in which he allegedly slammed his wife’s hand in a door.

The incident happened last week at a home on Vicksburg Drive in Jessamine County. Nicholas Baldwin, 42, was arrested Nov. 25 and charged with fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.

Baldwin has worked for the Lexington Fire Department since 2012, according to Battalion Chief Derek Roberts. He has been placed on paid administrative duty while the investigation continues…
