Los Angeles County supervisors vote to ban face coverings for law enforcement

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors are moving forward with a plan to bar law enforcement from wearing face coverings while on the job.

The ordinance was authored by Supervisor Janice Hahn and co-authored by Supervisor Lindsey Horvath, 4th and 3rd Districts, respectively, and passed its initial vote 4-0 on Tuesday. Supervisor Kathryn Barger, 5th District, abstained from voting.
