Selma Native Keyarrow Moore-Bonner Appointed as Alabama’s First Chief Labor Officer

On December 2, 2025, Alabama Workforce Secretary Greg Reed announced the appointment of Keyarrow Moore-Bonner as the first Chief Labor Officer for the Alabama Department of Workforce. This is the first time the agency has created this position, following recent legislative changes.

Moore-Bonner is from Selma, Alabama. She graduated from Selma Early College High School, Alabama State University, Faulkner Law, and the University of Alabama Law School. She has experience in government, criminal, and tax law. She previously worked as an assistant attorney general in the Department of Revenue and other state agencies.
