MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach officials update plans for the new fire station at Tuesday’s City Council workshop.
Myrtle Beach’s new Fire Station No. 1 will be built along Robert Grissom Parkway with a planned groundbreaking in 2026, says Capital Projects Director Jay Hood.
The six-bay station will be more than twice the size of the recently opened Fire Station No. 3 on South Kings Highway.
