Hit and Run Incident on Fordham Boulevard Near Wegmans

On November 29, just before 8pm on Fordham Blvd, a red Tesla was involved in a hit-and-run incident. The vehicle, allegedly moving at over 50 mph, rear-ended a car stopped at a traffic light. The driver of the Tesla fled the scene, leaving behind significant front-end damage and deployed airbags. The victim’s parent took to social media to appeal for information, stating that the driver must have sustained injuries, possibly even road rash, from the impact of the airbags. The Tesla was last seen heading down Sage Rd by Lowe’s Hardware and later on Weaver Dairy Rd. The parent implored anyone with information to contact the police or themselves directly, even suggesting that the driver might have headed towards Raleigh to reach a Tesla dealership…
