ELK GROVE, Calif. — Violence in the Sacramento region has drawn renewed attention after Elk Grove police said an 11-year-old boy was killed by his father Tuesday morning.
“This is such a terrible incident that has occurred,” said Elk Grove Police Officer Christina Gonzalez. She said “the life of an 11-year-old was taken by the hands of his father,” calling it the worst thing that could happen.
