CodeRED, an emergency alert provider, recently experienced a cyberattack that took its system offline. The Commonwealth Fusion Center in Massachusetts reported that a ransomware group claimed responsibility. The group said it stole user account data, including names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, and passwords.
