The Journey from Food Truck to Brick-and-Mortar

Adobo Boy began as a food trailer, pop-up diner, and catering service, run by Ace and Jackie Marasigan. The family-owned business is named after their son, lovingly nicknamed “Adob Boy,” who proudly calls himself the biggest fan of pork adobo.

In December 2023, Adobo Boy opened its first brick-and-mortar restaurant by leasing a spot inside Amazing Myanmar Asian Cuisine on 28th Street. The space was a food hall housing three restaurants, including Brunch and Rice. By November 2024,Brunch and Rice had decided not to renew their lease, and the food hall closed the following month.
