CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – A dispute over a privately-owned drive is putting a Cedar Rapids development plan on hold, as a property owner raises concerns about what city action could mean for his land and access rights.
The stretch in question is a small portion of a private drive off Williams Boulevard SW. It currently provides access to a privately owned lot, but the city says turning it into a public roadway would improve traffic flow for nearby housing and a proposed Tractor Supply store.
