Houston gas prices dip to $2.41 as holidays approach, following national trend

Good news for Houston commuters and those traveling by car over the holidays — gas prices may continue a downward trend in the coming weeks, according to fuel price tracking site GasBuddy.

Gas prices in Houston dropped nearly 5 cents in the last week of November, averaging at $2.41 per gallon, according to a survey of 2,559 stations in the city. As of Monday, prices were 10.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and nearly 9 cents lower than a year ago, a GasBuddy news release reads.
