City of Little Rock to mobilize warming centers due to colder-than-normal weather

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — Due to the cold temperatures outside, the City of Little Rock is opening up their warming centers to shelter those in need of warmth.

The Dunbar Community Center, located at 1001 W. 16th Street) will serve as a warming shelter from 6 p.m. on Sunday to 10 a.m. on Monday, and from 6 p.m. on Monday to 9 a.m. on Tuesday for those who need a warm, safe place to stay overnight.

The City of Little Rock will continue monitoring the weather to determine if they need to mobilize the shelter for anymore nights during this period of cold weather…
