Over the past several weeks, the Slidell Police Department Narcotics Division and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) New Orleans Field Division – Task Force Group IV, in collaboration with the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), conducted a joint investigation into a retail-level heroin and fentanyl distribution network, allegedly operated by Raymond Anthony Allen Jr., also known as “SLIM.”
Allen, who has a criminal history with Slidell PD, is known to distribute narcotics into Northshore communities.
Investigators developed intelligence linking Allen to a distribution operation, based out of an apartment complex in New Orleans East. Allen’s operation served as a primary hub for narcotics being trafficked into the Slidell area, as well as the greater New Orleans metro area…
