Furnace, water heater replacement costs to go up for Coloradans

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Starting in January, a new Colorado law regarding the sales of furnaces will drive costs up for those looking to replace theirs.

The law passed in 2023 and it prohibits the sale of certain types of furnaces and water heaters, instead requiring sellers to sell appliances that are in compliance with low nitrogen oxide output requirements.
