‘I was saved by God’: Elderly woman recounts violent attack, robbery at South Seattle home

SEATTLE — An 88-year-old South Seattle woman was hospitalized in mid-October after a stranger attacked her on her back porch, bit off her finger, and violently robbed her of her jewelry, according to the Seattle Police Department (SPD).

The suspect, believed to be in his 30s, remains unidentified as authorities seek the public’s help.
