The teen driver suspected of killing three University of Arizona students while driving impaired is no longer behind bars, according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
Louis John Artal, 19, has been out of the Pima County Adult Detention Complex since Nov. 12 according to Kevin Adger, a department spokesperson. He was being held on a $250,000 cash-only bond set by a judge during an Oct. 31 initial appearance.
Artal was booked into jail after he struck the three students walking in a marked crosswalk near Euclid Avenue and Second Street — about two blocks from the UA campus — with his Porsche Boxster before leaving the scene, according to Tucson police…
