ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – All Anchorage School District schools are closed Monday due to hazardous weather and icy roads, according to the ASD.
Only emergency staff are asked to report for duty, the ASD says. After-school activities and community rentals are included in the cancellation. As of 5:45 a.m. Monday, schools are planned to be open Tuesday.
In addition, Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District Region 4 schools (Beryozova, Dena’ina Elementary, Goose Bay Elementary, Knik Elementary and Redington Junior and Senior High Schools), will be operating at a two-hour delay for the same reasons…
