CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) – The parents of a one-month-old baby are facing a child endangering charge after the infant suffered a laceration that did not appear to be an accident.
Jacob Marcum, 22, and Lydia Wright, 21 have a Wednesday arraignment on the charge.
Marcum told Clermont County deputies that he noticed the injury while changing the boy’s diaper on Oct. 16. Neither parent called 911, according to deputies. They waited more than an hour before taking the baby to an urgent care that was closed. They then took him to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital urgent care in Anderson.
